US: Knauf Insulation is upgrading its Shelbyville plant in Indiana. The upgrade consists of a new blowing wool line, expanded glass production, a new pipe production line, modernisation of an existing pipe production line. Local press has reported that the blowing wool line is scheduled for commissioning by the end of June 2026. Knauf said that the upgrade advances its aims of growing and integrating best available technologies.
Knauf Insulation said that it is on track to achieve formaldehyde-free production across North America by the end of 2025.
